Job Summary :
Coordinates food service activities of cafe, snack bar, ice cream, roasters coffee station, and other concessioner outlets by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate employees.
The Details :
Position Type : Full-Time, Year-Round
Season Dates : August 2024
Pay : $20.05 / per hour
Schedule : Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days / per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
- Responsible for inspecting food service facilities and equipment meet requirements of state and local laws.
- Ensures customer satisfaction.
- Maintains high quality and sanitation standards through inspection and tasting prepared food.
- Investigates and resolves any food quality or service complaints.
- Ensures that food outlets meet company standards, such as queue times.
- Helps to ensure cost control within the department using information such as daily food sales, patron attendance, and labor costs.
- Responsible for ensuring staff are properly trained for their assigned areas and consistently following the correct processes and procedures.
During peak season could be upwards of 20 staff in a designated area.
- Assists with planning and executing banquets.
- Provides input for scheduling.
- During off-season may assist in BOH operations as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

- 3+ years previous experience in a FOH Leadership.
- Previous experience with banquets, preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food and Beverage Management or other similar program, preferred.
- Must have ServSafe Manager certification or be able to obtain within 6 months from date of hire.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to listen and effectively communicate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where project priorities, task deadlines, and assignments can change quickly and with little notice.
- Must be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision while working within set guidelines.
- Ability to adapt training methods to different skill and ability levels.
