We are seeking compassionate and experienced CNAs / HHAs with specialized skills in Alzheimer's and dementia care, including Parkinson's.
Job Description
Assist with all activities of daily living (dressing, meal prep, medication reminders, etc.) in the residents home. Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation and assistance with activities of daily living.
Duties and Responsibilities
Meet all required visits to the residents home according to policy and state regulations
Provide a positive, supportive environment in which the residents receive their care through your interactions with them
Remain engaged with residents throughout the entire visit process including feedback on services provided and completing forms
Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing etc.
Report any changes in the residents condition to the nurse or management immediately
Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding, and more
Assisting with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), such as light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and transportation
Monitoring and reporting any changes in the client's condition to your supervisor
Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
Upholding client confidentiality with the utmost professionalism
Delivering exemplary care that aligns with our high standards
Skills Required
Reliability, proactivity, and strong interpersonal skills
CNA / HHA certification or proven competency in a caregiver role
Must be 18 years of age or older
Familiarity with following a Care Plan
Demonstrated integrity, maturity, and sound judgment
Ability to remain composed, adaptable, and positive in challenging situations
