Lueders-Avoca ISD is accepting applications for a paraprofessional.
This individual will provide instructional assistance to students under the supervision of a certified teacher. Assistance with preparing, conducting, and managing classroom activities will be expected.
Other duties can be assigned within the realm of the educational setting.)
Education / Certification :
Associate's degree, two years of study at an institution of higher learning, OR have met formal academic assessment as required by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) OR be willing to obtain appropriate credentials through proper training.
Special Knowledge / Skills :
Ability to assist with instruction across content areas
Ability to adjust to the needs of a student
Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of age groups
Experience :
Experience working with children of all ages.
Bus driving certification or a willingness to obtain preferred.
Compensation depends on experience.
