Job Description
The Development Manager (Renewables) will be responsible for
- Spearhead the evaluation and execution of sustainable energy projects in line with corporate growth strategies
- Be hands on throughout all development stages, from concept to construction hand-off, encompassing community engagement, land acquisition, regulatory research, permit procurement, transmission negotiation, and engineering planning.
- Identify and mitigate enterprise risks associated with ongoing projects.
- Direct the preparation of comprehensive proposals for potential power purchasers.
- Facilitate negotiations of various commercial contracts
- Site control, interconnection, permitting package

The Successful Applicant
The Development Manager (Renewables) will have
- Minimum of three (2) years' experience in renewable energy industry with direct exposure to MISO market
- Direct experience in utility scale solar projects
- Experience with land development : landowner engagement, and negotiation / contracting, title resolution, agricultural land use / water restrictions
- Knowledge of governmental mandates, environmental regulations or customer / market signals that impact or facilitate new development of renewable projects
- Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred

$110,000 - $130,000 base salary
