Overview
The Coronado Golf Course is one of the City of Coronado’s most treasured assets. Opened in 1957, it is rated as one of the best public golf courses in the nation.
It is a favorite destination for residents and celebrities alike, and Tee Times are available daily. Located just minutes from downtown San Diego over the iconic San Diego Coronado Bay Bridge, it offers beautiful San Diego harbor and downtown views, and is sure to be a favorite destination for anyone that enjoys the game of Golf.
Experience Required
- PGA Member or Apprentice
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and build relationships and rapport.
- Self-starter who is detail- and process-oriented, organized.
- Instructor to players of all levels
Essential Responsibilities
- Responsible for the cleanliness and overall appearance of the Golf Shop.
- Responsible for filling in stock merchandise as needed.
- Remain up to date on latest golf equipment, apparel, and supplies and assist with Member special orders.
- Responsible for assisting customers with sales help.
- Opening and Closing Procedures of the Golf Shop.
- Provide club repair and club fitting services to customers.
- Must have a good working knowledge of the Rules of Golf.
- Communicate daily with the Starter and marshals.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment :
Must be able to lift 25 lbs, as well as sit / stand for extended periods of time. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, squatting.
This position works outside regularly.
