Salary :
We are seeking a full time qualified and experienced Access Control and CCTV Technician for a security system maintenance position in Downtown Philadelphia.
The candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance on various devices such as cameras, card readers, mag door locks, security panels and cans, DVRs, NVRs, duress systems, and other security devices.
Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with door alarms and IP and analog security systems
- Identify risks to customers and provide practical solutions
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on alarm systems
- Monitor live database of security devices for functionality
- Monitor inventory of service parts
- Keep track of your service calls via computer, including products serviced, work performed, hours, and parts utilized.
- Maintain an accurate parts inventory at levels that ensure a first time fix.
- Demonstrate and train customers how to use their equipment correctly.
- Keep your manager in the loop about your customer's satisfaction, any potential sales opportunities, or any recurring problems.
- Take care of other tasks as needed
Qualifications :
- Systems software knowledge for programming CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion. Configure IP-based solutions and interfacing with clients' IT staff.
- Strong understanding of digital CCTV systems, including IP based products and at least an intermediate understanding of PC and network configurations.
- Previous experience in security installation, maintenance, or other related fields
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Strong Communication for daily reports
- Able to handle a high-paced environment
- Ability to become certified in designated proprietary systems.
- Must have demonstrated experience with Lenel Access Control products and services
- 3 to 5 years of CCTV and Access Control Experience
- 3 to 5 years of CCTV Video Management Systems
- Demonstrated experience with MS Windows Office suite
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate :
The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of installations, troubleshooting, and repair of any of the above systems including programming and light design of the systems.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to plan, organize, and direct the completion of service / installations.
