Role Overview : We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead agile project teams and facilitate the Scrum process.
The Scrum Master will be responsible for guiding teams through the Scrum framework, ensuring efficient project delivery, and fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
This role involves working closely with Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met and continuous improvement is achieved.
Responsibilities :
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Act as a servant leader to the Scrum team, removing impediments and ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clarity and alignment with business goals.
- Monitor team progress and performance, providing coaching and support to improve team dynamics and productivity.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and implementing best practices.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met, and manage any changes in project scope or requirements.
- Promote adherence to agile principles and Scrum practices, and assist teams in understanding and applying these methodologies.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within an agile environment.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum and agile methodologies, with relevant certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM)).
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to effectively manage and resolve conflicts, and to motivate and guide teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Experience with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) is a plus.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.
