What are we looking for?

BetterHelp is looking for a Senior Manager, Therapist Community to join our Platform Services team to craft and manage our brand identity with the mental health therapist community.

If you are a marketing professional who’s driven and passionate about building communities, social media and developing impactful branding campaigns, we’d love to hear from you!

In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing and branding campaigns to enhance BetterHelp’s brand from beginning to end.

Your input will affect our product strategy and marketing, among others. Your goal is to create memorable and exemplary experiences for therapists and to consequently grow our therapist-base.

Ideally, you are a mental health enthusiast yourself with proven success in building communities, experience in social media and an experienced public speaker.

You are also excited about teletherapy and have in-depth knowledge of therapists’ communities, conferences, social media and potential partners.

What will you do?

  • Build a team of therapist brand ambassadors to advocate for BetterHelp in therapists communities, conferences, forums and social media and act as a spokespersons in social and traditional media
  • Establish relationships with therapists’ communities through our brand ambassadors.
  • Develop and execute a marketing plan to build BetterHelps’ brand awareness with therapists online and offline. Define annual objectives and goals and report on progress.
  • Create content for blogs, articles, social media, product use cases, website, case studies, videos, webinars, and more
  • Organize webinars, and other community and therapists events
  • Create compelling messages and copy to capture attention and attract our target audiences to engage with our platform
  • Work closely with team members to develop marketing strategies that use influencers and partners to attract therapists to our platform.

  • You will NOT worry about funding. We have startup DNA, but we're fully backed and funded by our parent company, Teladoc Health.

Can I work remotely?

Yes. We operate in Pacific Time and candidates in any time zone are welcome to apply. We also ask our employees to travel to our Mountain View, CA office up to three times per year and to one company offsite to collaborate in person in order to build better working relationships and experience our in-office culture.

Travel expenses will be covered and reasonable accommodations will be made for those under unique circumstances who cannot travel.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in the US, to travel to our Mountain View, California offices up to three times per year and to an additional company offsite.
  • 8+ years of experience creating and managing branding campaigns and content on digital platforms
  • Proven success with community engagement strategies
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams of technologists, marketers, and clinicians

Bonus :

The base salary range for this position is $160,000-180,000. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and the extensive benefits listed here (subject to eligibility requirements) : Teladoc Health Benefits 2024 .

Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
