Job Description
We are seeking a self-motivated problem-solver to train as a Manufacturing Operator at a facility in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
Pay starts at $18.00 per hour, operating on 2nd shift 2 : 00pm-10 : 00pm Monday-Friday, with overtime required as necessary.
Employees are eligible to enroll in our Medical, Dental, Vision, and other benefit plans after 60 days of employment.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED / equivalent
- Able to exercise good judgment and plan, perform, and make decisions as to the sequence of setups, operations and processes
- Familiarity with or the ability to learn Oracle and Bellhawk
- Able to communicate effectively in the English language, oral and written, to ensure work is performed safely and correctly
- Basic arithmetic and computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail and safety
As a Manufacturing Operator, you will learn to perform a variety of assignments as required or requested :
- Banbury functions
- Extruder Operation
- Barwell Operation
- TS Cutter Operation
- Compounding
- Tilt mix Functions
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed
