We are seeking a Medical Receptionist ( Medical Administrative Coordinator) to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work as a team player and provide personalized service-oriented assistance for our patients while demonstrating strong clerical and front end skills.
Responsibilities :
- Greet patients and ensure they feel welcome
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner.
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff.
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures.
- Escort patients to exam rooms.
- Keep the reception and waiting areas clean and neat.
- Willing to learn and perform vital signs.
Qualifications :
- High School diploma or equivalent or above
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Personable (for meeting / greeting patients / customers)
- Computer literacy (PC)
- Phone etiquette - handle heavy volume multi-line
- Filing - alphabetically and numerically
- Set priorities / follow directions
- Adjust to various demands
- Operate business equipment i.e. fax, photocopy, calculator, data card. Cashiering activity
- Medical terminology Medical office experience is a plus
- Able to operate Electronic medical records
