Job Overview

Rightworks is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to champion a suite of security offerings and initiatives. The ideal candidate has a passion for helping sales teams match clients with best-fit solutions combined with a background in marketing security products.

This role will support security solutions across our expanding portfolio. Rightworks prioritizes security as a core product pillar for our firms and the businesses they support, and we must ensure our customers understand the threat landscape and the protection our solutions provide them.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a collaborative spirit and a get-it-done mentality. We are seeking someone with demonstrated experience with cybersecurity solutions, including endpoint protection and compliance solutions.

Reporting to the Director Product Marketing, this person will serve a critical role in ensuring our customers have a secure environment to work in every day.

As the Product Marketing Manager, your daily responsibilities will encompass :

  • Collaborating with Marketing, Sales, and Product Management to develop product positioning and messaging.
  • Conducting ongoing market and competitive research to comprehend the threat landscape, coupled with engaging in customer interactions to recommend new pricing and packaging strategies.
  • Formulating go-to-market plans to drive feature enhancements for our security solutions, bolstering customer retention and new customer acquisition.
  • Coordinating with Product Management to strategize the launch of new product and feature releases, managing the cross-functional implementation of marketing plans.
  • Partnering with the Growth Marketing team to assess and enhance campaign performance and the effectiveness of go-to-market strategies.
  • Contributing to content creation for collateral, blogs, social media, and other assets.
  • Providing support to the Sales team through training and a steadfast focus on the problems our solutions address and developing internal tools and external-facing sales enablement materials.
  • Collaborating with customers to produce case studies that highlight the value of our security products and partnerships.
  • Collaborating closely with fellow members of the sales and marketing teams to achieve revenue objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of product marketing experience, specifically working with cybersecurity products and solutions.
  • Highly collaborative and adaptable, with a readiness to engage in cross-functional teamwork spanning Sales, Product, Marketing, and Success.
  • Proficiency in conducting market and competitive research to inform product development and marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with taking initiatives to drive projects forward.
  • A creative mindset combined with an eye for detail, with a passion for crafting impactful content that effectively conveys the value of our security solutions within our secure OneSpace environment.
  • Skill in translating technical product and solution information into clear, concise, and engaging narratives for non-technical audiences.
  • Able to demystify complex security trends, helping educate our clients about the cybersecurity landscape and the measures necessary to stay safe.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial attitude, with a willingness to contribute to our team's broader product marketing efforts.
