DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Driver helper will be expected to assist driver in delivering, and / or unload windows and patio door products to customers in a safe and timely manner to our dealers, distribution centers and / or construction job sites using a box truck.
- Responsible for the safe and efficient unloading of windows and doors
- Responsible for delivering the correct product to our customers and completing all required paperwork accurately
- Complies rules and company procedures while performing job duties
- Tailgating finished goods manufactured by Cascade Windows ensuring accurate product count and unloading / loading and securing return merchandise when authorized
- Interacts courteously and professionally with dispatcher, company (shipping, customer service, and transportation) staff, and customers
- Includes other duties / responsibilities as assigned by the Shipping Manager
Qualifications
- 1-2 years’ experience in loading, particularly in a window manufacturing environment preferred
- Glass handling and / or glass knowledge preferred
- Forklift experience / certification is preferred
