Position Overview : Augmentjobs is seeking a motivated Junior Credit Risk Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in assessing and managing credit risk associated with lending and investment activities.

This role involves analyzing financial information, evaluating creditworthiness, and contributing to risk mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

Credit Analysis : Evaluate credit applications, analyze financial statements, and assess the creditworthiness of clients or borrowers.

Risk Assessment : Conduct risk assessments to identify potential credit risks and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

Reporting : Prepare detailed reports on credit risk findings, including analysis of credit trends and recommendations for credit limits.

Monitoring : Monitor credit portfolios and track the performance of credit accounts to ensure compliance with risk management policies.

Collaboration : Work closely with senior analysts and other departments to provide insights and support in credit-related decision-making processes.

Data Management : Maintain accurate and up-to-date credit risk data and ensure proper documentation of all credit evaluations and decisions.

Regulatory Compliance : Ensure that all credit risk activities comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.

Skills and Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Experience : 2 to 5 years of experience in credit risk analysis, financial analysis, or a similar role.

Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial data and assess credit risk.

Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy and attention to detail in evaluating credit applications and preparing reports.

Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis software; familiarity with credit risk management tools is a plus.

Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present findings and collaborate with team members.

Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.

Organizational Skills : Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Team Player : Collaborative attitude and willingness to work as part of a team to achieve common goals.

Preferred Qualifications :

Certifications : Professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CRM (Credit Risk Manager) are advantageous.
