Job Summary
As the Onboarding Coordinator at , you will be instrumental in ensuring a seamless and efficient onboarding experience of our new associates.
You will facilitate on-boarding processes within HR for all employees, according to company guidelines and protocol. Expect to provide administrative support for HR functions, including employee records, maintenance, and data entry into HRIS, to work closely with members of the Talent Acquisition team as well as HRIS and TDI to ensure timely, thorough and consistent onboarding of new hires and transfers.
You will serve as a key point of contact during the orientation period to ensure a smooth onboarding and orientation experience.
Essential Functions
- Correspond with the new hire from day of acceptance
- Order and monitor background checks, updating recruiters of progress and working closely with new hire on process from start-to-end
- Lead the reference check process, updating recruiters of progress and working closely with new hire on process from start-to-end
- Manage compliance questionnaire administration and completion tracking
- Once all onboarding checks are complete, process new hire information into ARS
- Act as key point of contact for Hiring Manager throughout entire process
- Send New Hire and Hiring Manager emails to inform about first day new hire orientation
- Work with IT and IDM for new hire onboarding
- Manage st day orientation expert at I Everify process collecting documentation and tracking all docs in Everify
- Manage all steps in iCIMS including dispositioning candidates
- Track hires, diverse slates, and recruiting metrics
Other responsibilities :
- Assist with interview scheduling
- Assist with travel for out of state candidates
- Assist recruiters with scheduling TQ assessments / sent completed assessment to HM's
- Assist with Employee Referral Program
- Assist with all postings to external sites
- Assist with signing up for career fairs
- Order and monitor additional items for giveaways / recruiting brochures
Education
Bachelor's Degree required
High school diploma or GED required
Work Experience
years of experience in a recruiting, or HR or new employee onboarding position-required
Other Qualifications
Proficient computer skills : Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
MUST have experience monitoring background checks and should have experience with background check vendors (HireRight)
MUST have experience with eVerify I- documentation processes
