Job Summary :
The LPN at Elite Day Center of Columbia is responsible for providing high-quality member care in a part time capacity. This individual will work with the day center team to support the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of members at our day center.
This is a Monday-Friday nursing role. Elite Day Center is a medical adult day care center for those wishing to remain at home as long as possible.
We provide nursing care to those with orders for daily medications or treatments.
Responsibilities :
- Provide member care, including administering medications, nursing treatments to those with MD order
- Monitor members health and communicate any changes or concerns to the Administrator
- Educate members about health conditions, treatments, and preventative measures.
- Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date member records and creating and implementing care plans upon enrollment when needed.
- Updating care plan no less than every 6 months and quarterly nursing note on each members status at the day center.
Requirements :
- Valid and current nursing license in South Carolina in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably with senior adults, adults with disabilities or community setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with members, families, and team members.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Willingness to undergo any required background checks and drug screenings.
Compensation & Benefits :
As a LPN at Elite Day Center, you will receive competitive hourly salary and have access to a flexible schedule with weekly pay.
Monday-Friday - Required at least 5 hours per day
Day Center Hours of Operation : 7 : 30 am - 4 : 00 pm
Closed on Weekends & Holidays
