We own all steps of the Signal Integrity / Power Integrity analysis and optimization for SSDs & memory modules in a system environment.

Qualifications

Successful candidates for this position will have :

• BSEE w / 8 years relevant proven experience (or equivalent degrees) or MSEE w / 5 years of experience.
• Required courses covering electromagnetic, transmission line and RF theory, analog design or similar fields of study or experience.
• Required experience & solid understanding of 3D field solvers, time and frequency domain simulation tools like HFSS, HSPICE, ADS, etc..
• Required experience and solid understanding with PCB board level simulation tools such as Cadence Allegro Sigrity, SiSoft QuantumSI, etc.
• Solid understanding of electromagnetic and transmission line theory, general I / O design, signal integrity, differential and single ended interface technologies.
• Experienced and knowledgeable of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout or electrical package design techniques.
• Familiarity with high speed interfaces including PCIe, SATA, SAS, DDR3 / 4, LPDDR2 / 3 / 4 and ONFI standards.
• Familiarity with HVM corner cases and statistical analysis and equivalent tools (example : JMP) is also beneficial
• Familiarity and fundamental understanding of lab measurement equipment such as Oscilloscopes, TDR, Vector Network Analyzer (VNA), etc.
• Self-motivated - candidate should enjoy leading and taking ownership of assigned projects, exhibit good written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to work well in a diverse team environment.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is :

$106, - $230,

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.

The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
