Regional Facilities Asset Specialist
Massachusetts, USA New Jersey, USA New York, NY, USA Req #3136 Tuesday, October 29, 2024 The Facilities Asset Specialist is the primary point of contact for the maintenance of all equipment in the Texas, Georgia, the Northeast regions.
This role involves a thorough understanding of all trades including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, plumbing and others.
This role reports to the regional leadership and will not have any direct reports. Qualifications :
- 3+ years of proven experience in maintenance and facilities management roles
- Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance processes
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems and metrics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay updated on industry trends and technology advancements relevant to maintenance operations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Responsibilities :
- Applies proper vetting to work orders to ensure legitimacy while also actively managing the vendor and work order request from creation to completion.
- Works closely with office teams to clearly identify source of issues ensuring office downtime is minimized.
- Ensures office uptime by adhering to KPI's, BDP's, and established SLA's that benefit the company.
- Facilities Asset Specialist coordinates facility work order activities including general repairs and maintenance for trades including : PlumbingElectricalCarpentryPest controlJanitorialSignageDental equipmentHVACMasonryFurniture repair
- This position handles building equipment & dental equipment emergencies and communicates as the focal point between company employees and outside contractors.
- Applies proper vetting to work orders to ensure legitimacy while also actively managing the vendor and work order request from creation to completion.
- Organizes, schedules, and documents work activities; reviews activity progress; and assures completion.
- Obtains proposals and quotes from vendors and negotiates for best value, while maintaining quality and timeliness.
- Participates and supports planning, construction, affiliations, refreshes, relocations, and closure of facilities.
- Coordinates with Facilities Compliance Manager to ensure various Facilities compliance needs are met with various AHJ's
- Communicates with all internal partners in a cross functional environment involving different levels of employees, management, and leadership.
- Makes technical decisions regarding repair needs and execution to ensure office uptime.
- Salaried position that mostly works standard office hours but must be available to provide proper response on evenings and weekends as necessary.
