Essential Job Functions

Supports and models behaviors consistent with BillingsClinic’s mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and serviceexpectations.

Meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements.Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agencystandards as it relates to the environment, employee, patient safety or jobperformance.

Assists and supports Facility Services Leadership incoordinating the day-to-day operational needs and prioritizes work orders andpreventive maintenance schedules to meet daily demands to insure timelycompletion of work.

Provides oversight for quality and efficiency of workthrough preventive maintenance, work order, and Q follow Up and Inspections.

Provides first line support to the maintenance staff,assisting with professional and technical job related issues, resolution ofproblems, issues or concerns that may arise from questions received from thestaff while focusing on work quality and efficiency.

Responsible for timelyresponse to staff requests for assistance due to increased or high volumes.

• Provides mentoring and technical assistance toMaintenance Staff, Electrical Installers and System Designers. Ensures thatdelegated tasks are done accurately and on-time.
• Provides work direction to subcontractors, electricalinstallers, technicians, designers and administration as necessary.
• Validates complete system functionality and resolvesissues with subcontractors and others to ensure proper operation.
• Participates in the selection, budget and deliveryschedule of material to be procured for the projects assigned.
• Secures pricing and availability form outside vendorsand suppliers, mechanical and electrical subcontractors including scope, termsand conditions.

May request several bids in pricing process.

• Develops project plans and coordinates the requiredresources to ensure timely and cost effective installation and completion ofassigned projects.
• Member of the emergency response and disaster team.
• Assists in ensuring compliance with regulatory andaccreditation standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned or as needed to meetthe needs of the department / organization.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

2 Year / Associate Degree Associates Degree in Electronics, Information Technology, Electrical Technology or related field

Experience

• Five (5) or more years of installation, programming andtroubleshooting or related work experience
• Five (5) or more years of progressively more responsiblerelated work experience necessary in order to gain knowledge of equipment repair and to be able to troubleshoot anddiagnose a wide variety of mechanicalequipment and machinery problems
• Five (5) years of progressively more responsibleBillings Clinic maintenance experience

Certifications and Licenses

• Ability to obtain National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) Level II
• Ability to obtain Current Montana 3rd class Boiler License Certificate within 18 months of hire
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered
