ABA’s Internship provides students with a paid opportunity to work with one of the biggest trade associations in Washington, DC.
This extremely selective opportunity provides students with the opportunity to do substantial work in various divisions across ABA, connect with leadership, build a network, and make a difference.
ABA Summer Internships are hybrid with at least 2 days a week in our DC office.
Please Note : Internship positions are not eligible for healthcare insurance coverage.
Key Responsibilities
Research and Analysis : Conduct research on emerging banking technologies and trends, policies and regulations and analyze their potential impact on the banking industry.
Data Collection : Gather and organize data from various sources to support innovation projects and initiatives.
Report Preparation : Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and whitepapers on innovative banking solutions and regulatory developments.
Market Analysis : Perform market analysis to identify opportunities for new products, services, and venture investments in the banking sector.
Stakeholder Engagement : Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and feedback on bank innovation.
Qualifications
Communication Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey ideas.
Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze complex data and trends to support innovation projects and make informed decisions.
Minimum Education Requirements
Rising Sophomore / Junior / Senior standing with a major in Business, Economics or Political Science
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Salary Band Range :
$15.00 - $37.50 - $60.00
