Labor & Employment Associate Attorney
Our client is a highly respected law firm with a strong focus on labor and employment law, known for providing exceptional legal services to businesses and individuals across California.
The firm is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Labor and Employment Attorney to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated attorney to advance their career in a collaborative and dynamic legal environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Independently manage a caseload of labor and employment matters, including wage and hour disputes, discrimination claims, wrongful termination, and other employment-related issues.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to employment law cases.
- Provide legal counsel and representation in administrative hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
- Advise clients on compliance with state and federal labor laws, including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, and California Labor Code.
- Conduct investigations and employee interviews in relation to employment disputes.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to case strategy, negotiation, and litigation planning.
Qualifications :
- 2-10 years of labor and employment law experience (experience in both litigation and counseling is a plus).
- Must be Bar licensed in California , in good standing.
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills specific to employment law.
- Experience with federal and California state employment laws and regulations.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
