We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Installation and Repair Technician / Runner-Expeditor to join our team. This role involves installing and repairing doors, windows, and related components, while also ensuring smooth logistical operations across job sites.
Key responsibilities include :
Installation & Repair :
- Measure, cut, and install doors, windows, and hardware, ensuring proper fit and function.
- Diagnose and repair issues, perform replacements, and ensure weatherproofing.
- Apply finishing touches such as painting, sanding, and sealing.
Blueprint Interpretation & Quality Control :
- Read and interpret blueprints to guide installation and construction tasks.
- Inspect completed work to meet high-quality standards and client expectations.
Logistics & Coordination :
- Transport materials, tools, and documents between the office, job sites, and suppliers.
- Act as a liaison between project managers, field staff, and suppliers.
- Manage inventory and assist on-site as needed to facilitate project progress.
Safety & Customer Service :
- Adhere to safety protocols and building codes.
- Communicate effectively with clients, addressing concerns and providing recommendations.
This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to ensure high-quality work and efficient project flow.
