Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Litigation Attorney with at least 5 years of Civil Litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling complex litigation cases and exceptional courtroom skills.
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills, the ability to manage multiple cases, and a commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and depositions.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
- Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Engage in discovery, including taking and defending depositions, propounding and responding to written discovery.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients and provide expert legal advice.
- Collaborate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other parties involved in the litigation process.
- Prepare and present compelling arguments in court.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
- Stay current on developments in personal injury and civil litigation law.
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Minimum of 5 years of Civil Litigation experience, Personal Injury experience preferred.
- Proven trial experience with a successful track record.
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and work effectively under pressure.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Position Location
This position is on-site at our Newport Beach office.
Salary Range : $200k-$300k
