OverviewQuest has an automation Center of Excellent (COE) that has a core development team producing RPA automations. Quest has had limited success with the Citizen Developer program and as a result is looking to expand the capacity of the development team to handle the growing backlog of work that initially was planned for the Citizen Developer population.
Quest would like to stand up an offshore automation factory to be able to initially produce small to medium sized automations rapidly to meet business demand.
The offshore developers should have a strong background as UIPATH RPA developers. A description of the RPA role is provided at the end of this this document.
The offshore team would be expected to follow all existing DWF Software SOP and create expected documentation. Initially, we would like to stand up a team of six RPA developers.
We would bring on two RPRA developers at a time, spread out by about a month to allow for gradual ramp up of the team. We would expect this team to scale in size over time to handle more complex automations as Quest becomes more comfortable with the success of the automation factory concept.
This team would need to expand their skillset to work with all services available in the UIPATH cloud including Document Understanding, AI Center, Test Manager, Process Mining, Task Mining, and UIPATH Apps.
While UIPATH is the primary platform that is used for automation, the automations are not limited to UIPATH RPA. The team has delivered mobile applications in, dashboards Tableau, AIML models in Snowflake.
We start with a business problem and select the right technology for the automation. The majority fall into the UIPATH platform, but there are no set rules.
