Assist in serving children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments.
Develop behavior plans / treatment plans for all consumers with a focus on teaching and other antecedent strategies for reducing problematic behavior(s).
Review and sign off on behavior plan / treatment plan training for all field staff and provide field supervision when necessary.
Update objectives that have been mastered for both reduction and acquisition as needed
Observe the therapist implementing reduction and acquisition program(s) as needed
Provide praise or corrective feedback (e.g., including modeling if necessary)
Discuss the client’s progress with caregiver and discuss issues occurring in the home with the caregiver that are related to the program objectives once per week.
Provide caregiver training.
Complete therapist evaluation.
Submit reports (e.g., reauthorization and monthly reports).
Complete daily progress notes
Complete authorized therapy hours per client
Create ongoing data collection system to establish baseline and programmatic efficacy for all consumers, and to analyze data on a frequent and ongoing basis to guide programming.
