Location : Claris Headquarters, 11500 W. Olympic Blvd. #570, Los Angeles, CA

Hours : Full-time, Exempt

Salary Range : $90,000 - $100,000 (based on experience and qualifications)

Reports to : CEO

Schedule : Full Time on-site with flexibility to work remotely on an as needed basis

Supervises : Human Resources, Community Engagement Director, Clinic Director, Patient Services Director, Administrative Coordinator

The Role

We need a VP of Operations who’s ready to jump in, solve problems, and keep the organization moving forward even when things get tough.

You’ll be managing healthcare operations, HR systems, and overseeing programmatic work, ensuring that our staff can focus on what matters most : serving women and families in need.

You’ll be stepping into a role where no two days look the same. From overseeing payroll and HR tasks to working closely with directors to solve department-specific challenges, you’ll be managing fast-moving parts that require flexibility, creativity, and a strategic mindset.

The ideal candidate will feel empowered to take ownership, drive results on their own, and confidently lead while making independent decisions.

You’ll also be managing healthcare systems like AdvancedMD, ensuring we remain compliant with regulations while maintaining a smooth flow of services.

You Solving Problems on the Fly. You’re dealing with real-world challenges whether it’s a staff issue or an operational hiccup and finding creative solutions.

You’re not waiting for direction; you’re jumping in and taking charge.

  • You understand the nuances of healthcare operations and HR management. Whether it’s onboarding new staff, managing electronic medical record systems like AdvancedMD, or ensuring compliance, you’ve done it before, and you’re ready to take ownership.
  • You don’t need constant oversight. You’re able to identify issues before they become problems, and you have the initiative to act on them while keeping leadership in the know.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading teams and managing operations, ideally in healthcare or nonprofit settings.
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems like AdvancedMD, and a strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrates a genuine desire to support families through unintended pregnancies, valuing the well-being of both mother and child and, when possible, the extended family.
  • Supports and promotes Claris Health’s mission and core values to help achieve organizational goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nonprofit management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
