Job title : Women Stability Advisor Location : Carlisle Barracks, PA 17013. Duties : The applicant shall provide leaders technical / functional guidance on WPS and gender issues.
The applicant will support planning and executing operations, activities, and initiatives. The applicant will lead implementation efforts to include staff education and training of the requirements expected in the WPS strategy, the development of monitoring and evaluation metrics, studies requirements.
The applicant shall include integration of a public affairs developed communications strategy and advocacy plan for implementation plan roll-out.
The applicant will contribute to short, mid and long-terms operational plans and assessments, collective training and exercises, mission execution and situational awareness.
The applicant will review drafts of plans and updates to plans, frameworks, legislation, development documents, and similar issuances for correctness and consistency with the client, DoD goals, and Army goals and make specific recommendations for change, if applicable.
The applicant shall support and assist with, as required, the development of the Army framework and plan to implement applicable WPS Strategy.
The applicant will serve as a functional manager for the gender perspective and assesses and analyze on the future development as well as structures.
Education / Qualification : The applicant shall possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited degree granting institution in a discipline related to a major field of study listed below.
1) Human Resources (2) Gender Studies (3) Sociology (4) International Relations The applicant shall possess a master’s degree.
The applicant shall have completed any professional military education course. The applicant shall possess a minimum of 2+ years of experience working with a US Armed Service, the Department of Defense, or similar large organization. Powered by JazzHR
