IT Security Specialist

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Security Specialist with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ

This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities :

• Define the engineering approach within an end-to-end technology stack
• Align to a technical domain but acts as contributor to multiple cross functional teams
• Be engaged in development and production environments to identify and improve performance / capacity issues within and across technology stacks on an end-to-end basis
• Key responsibilities of this role include creating and ensuring system design technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards
• Provide and contribute to improvements in solution design, testing and delivery practices

Requirements :

• Proficiency in understanding concepts and technologies in DevOps, IT operations, security, cloud, microservices, containers, distributed systems, and scheduling platforms
• Proficiency and / or knowledge of HashiCorp tools
• Proficiency and / or knowledge of Kerberos, Active Directory
• Proficiency and / or knowledge of coding against Rest API, JSON etc..,
• Proficiency and / or knowledge with middleware such as WebSphere, WebLogic, Apache etc..,
• Experience with implementing software products or solutions to large and dynamic enterprise companies
• Able to code in two or more of the following languages - C#, .Net Framework / Core, Java, PowerShell / Unix Shell, Low latency Tuning, Open / Onload
