Job Summary : The Automotive Customer Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair and maintenance process.
You will advise customers on necessary vehicle services, coordinate repair schedules, and provide updates, all while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Key Responsibilities :
- Greet customers warmly and promptly upon arrival at the service center.
- Listen to customer concerns, and explain necessary repairs or maintenance in a clear, professional manner.
- Create service orders, ensure all necessary details are recorded, and communicate repair estimates and timelines to customers.
- Collaborate with technicians to relay information and ensure timely completion of services.
- Keep customers updated throughout the repair process and promptly address any questions or concerns.
- Handle payment processing, invoicing, and closing of service orders.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the services and products offered, ensuring you can advise customers on the best solutions for their automotive needs.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by going above and beyond to meet their needs.
- Uphold company standards and policies to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent required; automotive experience or education preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in an automotive setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical information to non-experts.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using computers and automotive service software.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Bilingual (English / Spanish)
