Description
The NCHPAD GROWTH Coordinator will coordinate and carry out all activities associated with the GROWTH program under the National Center on Health, Physical Activity and Disability (NCHPAD).
This includes program development and delivery and program evaluation. In addition, the coordinator will facilitate NCHPAD Connect participant recruitment and engagement activities, including but not limited to speaking or tabling at various settings.
- Lead the design, planning, and execution of the GROWTH mental health program in collaboration with the strategy II NCHPAD program manager and team.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to further develop and enhance the GROWTH program with evidence-based strategies.
- Ensure the GROWTH program is inclusive and accessible to individuals with various disabilities.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources under the supervision of the NCHPAD strategy II Program Manager.
- Monitor and report on program progress, addressing any issues that arise.
- Build and maintain relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, including individuals with disabilities, community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies to support program goals.
- Develop and implement evaluation frameworks to measure the effectiveness of the GROWTH mental health program.
- Supervise and mentor GROWTH program staff and volunteers.
- Connect with people with recently acquired and existing disabilities to sign up for NCHPAD Connect
- Serve as the content expert for mental health in people with disabilities across NCHPAD.
Hourly Pay Range : $18.35 - $29.80
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE.
