Responsibilities : Under the general supervision of the Supervisor, Adult Mental Health Services coordinates the services of an Interdisciplinary Team of mental health professionals including nurses.
Services provided include, psychiatric evaluation and review, medication monitoring, crisis intervention, discharge planning, Individual and Group Therapy (including but not limited to socialization skills), community integration groups, and Targeted Case Management which includes linking with basic community services (including health care, dental, food and housing).
The Outreach Case Management Program utilizes a variety of evidence based practices including Family Psychoeducation and Motivational Interviewing.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, clinical and administrative supervision of staff, consultation and participation in program planning and development, monitoring outcomes and data related to services, collaboration with other programs in AMHS, CMHA-CEI, and with other community partners, and some direct services to consumers.
Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program / sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures.
Requirements : Possession of a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field required. State of Michigan credential required.
Minimum three years’ work experience with individuals with mental illness or co-occurring disorders is required. At least one-year work experience in a lead position or progressively more responsible position required.
Leadership and good judgment skills required. Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both in writing and verbally is required.
May participate in a 24-hour on-call system which includes holidays and weekends. Candidate will provide crisis intervention as needed.
Possession of a valid Michigan driver’s license and access to reliable means of transportation for job related use is required.

Salary / Hours : Starting salary $62,881 - $73,150 annually with scheduled, annual increases that can result in a salary of $93,966 per year.
40 hours per week. Employees may participate in a 24-hour on-call system which includes holidays and weekends.
Location : Adult Mental Health Services, Case Management, Lansing, Michigan.
