Production Associates - Temp To Hire

Job details Spherion is hiring Warehouse Workers in Fairborn, OH. RESUME REQUIRED!

Pay : 1st Shift : $17 / hr / 2nd Shift : $18.50 / hr

1st : Mon-Fri, 7 : 00a-3 : 30p, 8 Hour shifts

2nd : Mon-Fri, 3 : 30pm-12 : 00am, 8 hour shifts

Responsibilities :

• Read and interpret production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine the items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Tape, count, cut, glue - Complete Production of sandpaper
• Safely convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated locations.
• Sort and organize materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined criteria such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or material requests and distribute items to production workers or assembly lines.
• Assemble customer orders from available stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or transport orders to the packing station or shipping department.
• Mark materials with identifying information for efficient tracking.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers as needed.
• Maintain records of received and distributed materials or items.
• Weigh or count items to ensure compliance with company standards before distribution within the plant.
• Arrange stock parts in the specified sequence for assembly by other workers.

Working hours : 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM (Various Shifts Available)

• Positive attitude and commitment to meeting customer requirements.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
• Must have steel-toed boots or shoes for safety purposes.
