Material Handler La Porte, IN
Starting Pay : $19 / hr (1st shift) - $20.50 / hr (2nd shift)
Shift(s) : 1st / 2nd Shift
Must be available to work overtime & weekends as needed
Requirements & Skills :
- Must be able to pass a physical.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift objects weighing 50lbs+, repetitively.
- Must be able to follow safety rules and guidelines.
- Data entry and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment, withstanding climate changes.
- Must be ok with heights equipment can go up 30+ feet.
Primary Duties Include :
- Unloading trucks and placing the product in the proper staging area.
- Loading trucks with the correct product for shipment.
- Picking large products from racking systems from the scissor lift platform.
- Operating a cherry picker within constricted areas of the warehouse.
- Maintains a clean work area, free from debris on the warehouse floor.
- All other duties as assigned.
