Job Title : QA Specialist

Background / Need :
The Group is looking for a Quality Assurance / Test Engineer. In this role, you will need to have software development skills, quality assurance testing skills, automation and orchestration skills, computer administration skills, network administration skills, hardware skills, and the ability to adapt to the needs of a growing and evolving team.
You'll need to be flexible, motivated, and able to quickly learn new technologies to meet requirements. Candidates will need to be able to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
They must also possess a love for technical challenges, a desire to constantly learn, and be able to establish themselves as a critical player within a team.
Resposibilities :
The position shall be responsible ensuring quality assurance of a high-availability server and network infrastructure composed of numerous software components.
The position is responsible for the design and implementation of software quality assurance best practices in order to ensure reliable software releases into production.
The ability to document test methodologies (e.g., creating test plans) and to develop automated testing capabilities to ensure time critical testing is conducted on a rapid schedule is required.
The position is responsible for testing software components in a variety of server and network configurations, troubleshooting issues, and identifying software defects.
The position shall proactively identify applicable quality assurance best practices and recommend process and technology improvements to testing approach and test infrastructure.
The position shall work closely with project managers and other developers, engineers, and research staff to manage capacity and carry out quality assurance testing duties.
Must Have :
- Experience with generating automated tests.
- Experience with static and runtime analysis tools.
- Experience with Selenium / python for web UI test automation.
- Experience with testing idiomatic Rust code with Clippy Lints.
- Experience with NSA certification process.
Nice to Have :
- Bachelor's Degree.
- DoD / NSA Policies & Technologies (COMSEC).
- Support of DevSecOps environments.
- Scripting Experience : Python, Ansible, TCL or Bash.
- System programming languages (e.g., C / C++, Rust, or Go).
- Gitlab CI / CD.
- Virtualization technology.
- Containerization (Docker, podman, etc.)
- Orchestration (Kubernetes / k8s, Tanzu, OpenShift, Rancher)
- Experience with DevOps workflows and common CI / CD tools.
Education & Experience : 5 + Years of relevant work experience.
Work Authorization : US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
