Freight and Logistics Analyst Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Freight and Logistics Analyst .
We are looking for aLogisticsSpecialist to join a Brokerage Operations Team, supporting key logistics functions, including track and trace, for our customers.
In this role, you will be integral in maintaining smooth communication between drivers, account managers, and customers to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of shipments.
This is not a remote work from home position. Pay Range : $18.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience. Schedule and Hours : Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm Freight and Logistics Analyst Duties and Responsibilities
- Enter and manage loads from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system.
- Provide updates to account managers on problem loads and actions taken.
- Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring on-time arrivals and good condition.
- Investigate product overages, shortages, damages, and complete necessary documentation.
- Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments based on customer needs.
- Provide drivers with accurate and detailed directions to ensure smooth deliveries.
Freight and Logistics Analyst Qualifications and Requirements
- 1+ year of logistics experience, with a general understanding of the transportation industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, with strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.
- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Experience using Freight Optimizer or similar logistics software is a plus.
