We're assisting our client, a local leader in the promotional products industry, in their search for a Contract Graphic Designer .
The primary purpose of this role is to update the company's catalog art file with new / revised information.
While this contract role is anticipated to last until mid-January 2025, there is a possibility that this position will convert to a full-time, permanent role.
Location : Winston-Salem, NC (100% onsite)
Pay Rate : $20-$25 / hour
Responsibilities :
- The primary objective will be updating the catalog art file with new / revised information
- Uses various programs to design creative layouts and virtual art for speculative presentation to clients
- Enters, positions, and alters existing graphic elements and text to fit specific products
- Enters, stores, and retrieves information on file
- Makes shape selections / masking in Photoshop to isolate individual areas to tweak
Qualifications :
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign
- Proficient in Mac OS
- Experience managing creative assets on a shared server
- Ability to shape / size / manipulate objects as needed for products
- Excellent computer skills and other technical skills concerning design creation
- Knowledge of print art requirements
- Adaptable, able to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and client-required timelines
- Experience in a cohesive team environment
- Care and attention to detail is key
- Experience in catalog design is a huge plus
- Active listener, critical thinker, and a sense of urgency
