Job Description : Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer
We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented radiologic technologist to be responsible for operating imaging equipment for diagnostic purposes.
The radiologic technologist's responsibilities include following physicians' orders regarding the area of the body to scan, positioning patients and equipment, and answering patients' questions.
The radiologic technologist will use imaging equipment to capture images of tissues, bones, organs, and vessels, and may assist in the administration of radiation therapy treatments or radiopharmaceuticals.
To be a successful radiologic technologist, you should be compassionate and have good communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with patients.
You should have good technical and analytical skills.
Education Requirement :
- A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH required.
- BLS preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities : year General Radiographer experience.
Rad Tech requirements :
- A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH required
- ARRT cert in Radiography required
- BLS preferred
- At least year of experience in role Intake notes :
Schedule Notes : overnight or evening shifts - Total Hours Worked per Week - Weekends / Holidays required? yes - Mgr / team to call candidates directly
