Job Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the accounts payable operations for the Property Management division of NP Dodge Company.
- Supports the corporate accounts payable functions as needed.
- Receives, reviews and processes vendor invoices.
- Prepares vendor statement reconciliations.
- Handles bank deposits and reconciliations.
- Prepares cash report reconciliations.
- Ensures compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Participates in other projects as assigned and requested.
- Demonstrates company core values.
- Reasonable and reliable attendance and timeliness when reporting to work and completing work.
- Interacts well with others and builds relationships with the division leaders.
Education / Experience / Qualifications :
- Associate’s degree in accounting, Business or related field preferred.
- Prior office / clerical experience; accounts payable experience preferred.
- Property management and / or real-estate industry experience in accounting preferred.
Required Skills / Abilities :
- Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- AppFolio or other Accounts Payable software experience preferred.
- Team player and willing to take on additional tasks as needed.
- Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to details.
