This is an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills in the area of revenue optimization for our air and ground transportation content and work hands-on with our latest developments like our NDC content!The position of Marketplace Optimization Analyst sits within the Air and Ground Transportation Team and is an integral part of the Global Business Partnerships organization.

The Air and Ground Optimization Team ensures preferred suppliers who provide us with the best content receive foremost support by deploying technology and tools to highlight the key attributes and benefits of these products to our customers so that they can make the best purchasing decisions.

As a result, our premium client base would continue to grow, and we would create a virtuous circle driving value for both our preferred suppliers and our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a hands-on mentality combined with a creative mindset, comfortable interpreting data and who can use analytics to deliver actionable insights and impactful recommendations that optimize revenue performance.

What You'll Do : Daily audits of optimization EDIFACT and NDC campaigns to ensure accuracy and traction.Daily management, troubleshooting and reporting of SNAP tickets as they relate to any content & pricing discrepancies (including NDC) reported by Travel Counselors, CGM’s and / or other support teams.

Assisting other teams with PCC and Client NDC activations and implementations.Strategically collaborate with the Team Managers to support & execute the vision for supplier optimization.

Perform in-depth analysis leading to the development and execution of optimization campaigns that enhance GBT Marketplace Partner’s value proposition, including NDC content distribution.

Quality Assurance with all Online & Offline Booking Tools to ensure adequate support for GBT’s Marketplace Partners.Cultivate strong relationships with Global Revenue Management (GRM) & other GBT teams such as Traveler Care & Global Travel Technologies.

Support Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) on prioritized business requirements & functional specifications related to Marketplace optimization and drive them to completion with Product Teams.

This role may involve international travel. Due to the unique nature of Marketplace Optimization activities and the global nature of this role, some flexibility in working hours is required.

What We're Looking For : An in-depth knowledge of at least two, preferably all three GDS Systems. Expertise in Sabre GDS is expected.

OBT knowledge is a plus.A strong understanding of air content distribution including NDC, online retailing and travel economics.

Proficient in using Excel databases, creating pivots and generally manipulating large data sets.Ability to develop understanding of new industry trends and related opportunities for GBTAbility to learn multiple complex GBT tools and adapt to change.

Excellent communication skills (written and oral), fluency in English & strong presentation skills.Excellent organizational and planning skills, able to manage multiple projects with different deliverables at the same time, has attention to detail and ability to deliver within deadlines and highlights deliverable issues and suggested solutions on time.

GBTJobsLocationUnited StatesThe US national annual base salary range for this position is from $46,000 to $93,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role.

Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.

In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for an annual Performance Based Incentive, which rewards participants based on company performance.
