Job Title : Construction Safety Manager
Location : Hilliard, OH
Duration : 12 months (Immediate Start)
Type : 1099 Contractor
Compensation :
- Hourly Rate : $45-$50 / hr
- Completion Bonus : $150 / month
- Pay : Weekly
Schedule :
Hours : 10 on 4 off - Nightshift
Project Scope :
New Construction Data Center - Electrical Experience is a MUST
Qualifications :
- Experience : 5+ years in construction safety management
- Certifications : Current OSHA 30 certification and BCSP cert preferred.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities :
- Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations.
- Provide safety training as needed.
- Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety practices.
- Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence.
- Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required within the manager's skills and certifications
Skills :
- Excellent public speaking and communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- OSHA outreach training experience is a plus.
- Confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
Knowledge : Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction, with the ability to communicate these effectively.
