POSITION SUMMARY

Rare Beauty Quality is looking for an individual who thrives in fast paced environments and has strong attention to detail.

Ideally, this candidate is a self-motivator, takes initiative, and loves Rare Beauty products! Problem solving skills with a creative mindset and a can-do attitude are needed for success.

This role will partner with the Director of Quality focusing on product sample evaluation and management, documentation review, retain storage and organization.

Other projects will be determined based on monthly departmental goals. This role is part-time and temporary with the potential to become permanent.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive and Log samples upon arrival from Suppliers
  • Evaluate samples based on visual appearance, color match, quality criteria
  • Maintain sample COAs and testing records
  • Provide disposition to CMs based on sample evaluation
  • Organize samples appropriately for future reference
  • Store and organize product records, including COAs, product release, and CM records
  • Maintain a catalog of master standard statuses
  • Prepare standards for new product launches and ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Additional responsibilities as required

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proactive and self-starter attitude, able to take initiative and work independently
  • Focus on problem-solving and ability to think critically in challenging situations
  • Excellent time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, and preferably Adobe Suite
  • Must be available to be in the El Segundo based office generally on Tuesdays, and Thursdays with occasional Wednesdays
  • Able to work 16-30 hours weekly, flexible as needed
