Job Description :

We are currently seeking a motivated and empathetic Physician Assistant with a background in mental health to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical foundation, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for providing exceptional care to individuals facing mental health challenges.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to determine diagnoses and formulate treatment plans.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Prescribe and manage medication regimens, monitoring patient responses and making adjustments as necessary.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment planning.

Qualifications :

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of State .
• Experience or interest in mental health and psychiatry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
• Empathy and dedication to providing patient-centered care.
