Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer for the 1st shift. The candidate will develop CNC programs using SolidWorks / CAM software for various machines including mills, lathes, lasers, waterjet, and plasma machines based on customer engineered prints.
Responsibilities include creating process capabilities, studying and breaking down prints, calculating correct part dimensions, selecting tools, setting machine speeds, and monitoring equipment output.
The role involves making mechanical program adjustments to ensure parts meet all requirements, communicating recommendations to improve productivity and quality, and performing other duties as required by the Machine Shop and Burn Department Supervisors.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate good manufacturing practices and be adept at selecting tooling and machine resources for part manufacture.
