Camp Counselor (Kennel Technician / Dog Care Attendant) (working with dogs) (South Salt Lake)

Camp Bow Wow, Utah's Premier Doggy Day and Overnight Camp, at 500 West 3600 South in Salt Lake City, Utah is currently hiring FULL-TIME and PART-TIME staff.

Starting pay is $12 to $14 an hour DOE and availability

Description :

Camp Bow Wow is a fast-paced working environment. No experience necessary. The common duties are all janitorial and housekeeping. (Training provided).

• Must be able to stand and walk prolong hours,
• Can lift 50 pounds,
• and work in confined spaces in a loud working environment.

This challenging but rewarding position comes with the ability to work directly with dogs. You will learn

• dog behavior, dog body language
• play yard management and
• variety of other skills.

Applicants :

• Should have a working knowledge of dog behaviors (no requirement),
• will be able to work flexible schedules including mandatory weekends and all holidays,
• will be receptive to doing cleaning and organizing, and
• will be a team player with good customer service skills,
