Responsibilities
- The Business Development Representative’s core role is to identify new leads for the sales team that match Atwave’s ideal customer profile.
- Research companies and verticals to build a list of ideal accounts to target for the sales team.
- Drive lead generation in the form of qualified sales appointments for the sales team based on historical campaign performance and industry research analysis.
- Research and report on prospect’s potential pain points and / or marketing triggers.
- Manage client prospect lists and reporting.
- Provide internal and external sales stakeholders with exceptional service and support.
- Contribute to ad hoc strategic projects that will help drive revenue growth.
- Apply excellent attention to detail and organizational skills while anticipating sales team needs.
- Manage the team’s sales technology stack.
- Participate in weekly meetings with the sales team to review leads and response rates.
- Report directly to the Sales Manager.
Requirements
- Familiarity with the digital marketing industry preferred.
- Ability to uncover and understand customer needs.
- Working knowledge of current business software technologies.
- Detail-oriented, hands-on, and meticulous in carrying out work responsibilities.
- Ability to multitask, take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- A resourceful, driven team player with a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of email marketing and advertising is a plus!
