The South College School of Physician Assistant Studies is seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual for the position of Clinical Coordinator to join an experienced clinical team for its campus in Asheville, NC.
We are searching for a team-oriented faculty member to assist in clinical site management, clinical curriculum development, and assessment.

General Responsibilities
- Ongoing development and maintenance of clinical sites and preceptors.
- Regular travel in Western North Carolina 1-2 days a week to recruit sites and complete initial and ongoing site visits.
- Coordinate student placements at various clinical sites.
- Advise students and preceptors on clinical rotation schedules, requirements, and expectations.
- Monitor student progress during clinical rotations and address any issues that arise.
- Provide feedback to students and preceptors.
- Ensure that clinical education meets or exceeds federal, state, and PA accreditation standards.
- Assist with the development and coordination of Clinical curriculum.
- Instruction in clinical and didactic phases of the program.
- Assess student performance during clinical rotations, end of rotation, and clinical summative activities and testing.
- Maintain and review scheduling of Exxat logs.
- Assist Director of Clinical Education in document preparation for accreditation reviews.
- Plan scholarship and service activities to assist the program’s compliance outcomes.
- Participate in student advising, student admissions and committees as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate of ARC-PA accredited program.
- Current NCCPA certification.
- Master’s in physician assistant studies or health related fiel
Requirements
- Eligible for licensure in North Carolina.
- At least 3 years or more of teaching or clinical experience.
