Job Summary / Company :
Sparks Group is seeking an Operations Representative to ensure all systems are functioning properly and all data transmissions are monitored and executed.
In this role, the responsibilities will include identifying, investigating, escalating, and resolving all internal and external issues.
Responsibilities :
- Set up, run, and monitor systems & equipment (diagnostics, scheduling)
- Track network activity (Clearing House products) for smooth operation
- Identify, investigate, and resolve internal / customer production issues (connectivity)
- Provide technical support (MQ, C : D, FTP) to external contacts, etc. (testing apps / certification)
Qualifications / Background Profile :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Mathematics, or a combination of equivalent education and experience
- 1-3 years of experience in a NOC environment
- Basic knowledge of Windows and UNIX operating systems
- Basic understanding of data center hardware
- Basic work knowledge of data center monitoring tools (SCOM, Solar winds)
- Knowledge of network terminologies and concepts
