Job Overview
We currently have an opening for a full-time Pharmacy Manager to join our Spokane, WA team. The manager of pharmacy position is responsible for the operation and management of the Pharmacy Department.
In addition to planning, organizing and implementing hospital pharmacy policies and procedures in accordance with established policies of the hospital, applicable laws and in accordance with accepted standards of good pharmacy practice.
Schedule : Full-time M-F (in-person)
Holidays : 9 observed holidays per year
Compensation range : Pay range for this position is $48.39 / hr - $82.96 / hr. The hired applicant's placement within the range is based on qualifications, professional experience and education.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for successful departmental operations and its integration into the hospital plan. Aligns department with the hospital mission and strategic plan and meets regulatory agency requirements for safe patient care.
- Participates in positive and effective communications; demonstrates flexibility to change as required; promotes inter / intra department teamwork;
works efficiently and demonstrates integrity.
- Develops and maintains standards to ensure exceptional service to all customers. This includes developing and monitoring internal indicators and taking corrective action as needed
- Systems are in place to ensure compliance with Hospital Rules and Regulations; JCAHO Standards; State Rules and Regulations;
and other regulatory agencies. Discrepancies are dealt with on a timely basis.
Complies with policies regarding punctuality, attendance, sick time, and overtime. Supports hospital request when asked to rotate shifts, adjust work schedule during times of census variation, vacation, staff illness or department needs.
Demonstrates ability to critique own practice for error and pursues corrective action. Accepts constructive feedback about performance behavior and initiates constructive action.

Qualifications
Required
- Pharmacy license in WA
- 5 years experience in clinical pharmacy practice
- COVID-19 Vaccination
Preferred
- Bachelor of Pharmacy
- Doctorate of Pharmacy
- 3 years experience as Pharmacy Manager
