Primary Responsibilities include :
- Django development for both client and internal projects
- UX knowledge understanding end user
- Meeting deadlines and proper goal setting
- Input into scheduling and resource needs for the project
- Attend estimating & bidding meetings as needed
- Work both as a team member and leader, depending on the project
Qualifications and skills :
- 2-4 years previous Django development experience
- Python expertise
- Experience with Postgres and No-SQL DBs
- Experience with writing deployment automation scripting
- Experience with Object Oriented Programming & appropriate Design Patterns
- Scrum and Waterfall workflow knowledge
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Professional written and oral communication skills
- Strong ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and under deadlines
- Resourceful problem solver
- Positive attitude and open, respectful communication
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
- An eagerness to learn and overcome challenges
- Must be discreet as backCODE works on high profile entertainment, education, and defense projects
Bonus :
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience working in a non-disclosure environment
- Experience in leadership role, mentoring junior developers and leading teams
