Quality Assurance Engineer

Position Title : Quality Assurance Engineer Department : Product Reports to : Senior Software Developer Job Description : Develops, publishes, and executes test plans and test cases.

Develops quality assurance standards. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.

Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Testing and diagnosing existing web-based software products through debugging, regression testing, participating in code reviews, creating unit tests, and debugging.

Writing technical specifications and other supporting documentation for software products. Assisting the Support team to resolve customer issues requiring detailed knowledge of the inner workings of software products.

A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Requirements : Bachelor’s degree. Fluent in English and technical writing skills.

Strong knowledge of Internet and Microsoft technologies. 3+ years of testing web applications. 3+ years of testing and scripting SQL.

3+ years’ experience testing web services and client / server applications. Able to quickly react to changing priorities.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Optional additional experience : Health care applications. Experience with automated pharmaceutical supply chain management.

Microsoft Azure. LogMeIn. Experience with Pyxis or Cubex cabinets. Team Foundation Server / Azure DevOps HIPAA training and certification.

Hours of Operation / Travel : Generally working from the Corporate Office in Scottsdale Hybrid work schedule consisting of Mondays through Thursdays in the Office and Fridays working from home.
