Job Brief
The Pipefitter Journeyman should have extensive experience with laying out and installing heating, cooling, ventilation, piping and refrigeration systems.
Responsibilities
Travel to project locations, often multiple daily, as required
Install HVAC / R equipment to ensure proper operation in accordance with established procedures and according to code.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Commercial HVAC field / Pipefitter experience (We are not seeking entry-level applications or those with residential experience only)
- Certification through the Environmental Protection Agency to handle refrigerants required
- Must be punctual, dependable and adhere to a daily schedule with multiple appointments in different locations
- Must have strong installation skills with the ability to think outside of the box and experience with commercial HVAC / R including, but not limited to :
- Split Systems, Package Units, Ductless Systems, Heat Pumps, Cooling Towers, Boilers, PTAC units, VAV's, Chillers. Etc
- PVC Piping
- Refrigerant piping (brazing)
- Grooved Piping
- Threaded Piping
- Copper Piping (Sweat, Pro-Press, Brazed)
- Welded Pipe (experience is a plus)
